Cheryl A. Parzych is the Executive Vice President of Wealth Services for First Commonwealth Bank located in southwestern Pennsylvania. Her scope of responsibility comprises the fiduciary, investment advisory, retail investment, insurance, and financial planning businesses of First Commonwealth. Cheryl is focused on driving Wealth business through a planning-based holistic approach, using an advisor-led model that leverages the practice specialties of the firm. Comprehensive advice along the wealth continuum distinguishes First Commonwealth as a provider to its full client base.

Cheryl currently serves as the Chairperson of First Commonwealth for Women, which is the organization’s focused work devoted to the financial health of women. This work extends internally, to the First Commonwealth employee base, and externally to women business leaders and financial decision makers – building on unique insights and delivering a network of solutions for their support.

Prior to joining First Commonwealth late in 2010, Cheryl was with KeyBank as its Cleveland-based Director of Trust Services, Chief Fiduciary Officer and a member of the Wealth Segment leadership team. She is a career-long Trust professional. Prior to joining Key, Cheryl served as both Chief Fiduciary and Chief Administrative Officer for Citizens Financial Group based in Providence, RI.

Parzych is a graduate of Leadership Pittsburgh’s Class XXVII, Leadership NH Class of 1997 and holds a B.A in Psychology from State University College of NY at Potsdam. She is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor.

Cheryl is a member of the Board of Directors for the Society for Contemporary Craft in Pittsburgh, PA. Recently, she served as a Trustee of the Women’s Community Foundation of Cuyahoga County, OH and of Strawbery Banke Museum in Portsmouth, NH. A proponent of community engagement and leadership, she has previously held board positions for organizations focused on health and wellness, historic preservation and the arts.
